Master of Science in Air Transportation (M.Sc. Air Transportation)

The Master of Science in Air Transportation is a two-year postgraduate programme comprising of six semesters. It deals with the study of concepts related to the working of aircraft, airports, air navigation, artificial intelligence, regulation, law and its management. The aviation industry is a challenging industry, and the people working in it must be professionally trained for the jobs.The programme is developed to meet the needs of the industry and is designed to put emphasis on the application of modern management concepts, methods, and tools in meeting the challenges of growing the air transport industry. Furthermore, the programme enhances knowledge in applied science of the aviation specialization subjects: behavioural sciences, statistics, data analysis, modeling and simulation, applied research, project management, and technology.

Programme Outcome:

  2. To develop managerial, interpersonal, financial, project management, team-building, and analytical skills.
  3. To build the management and leadership skills required for the sustainability of the industry in the future.

 

Course Modules

The overall course modules consist of language, core, and elective papers. There are 12 core, 3 electives, 4 language papers, and 1 research report and two fortnight internship( 2nd and 4th Semester) to complete the two-year PG program. WIAA offers Languages 1 and 2 to improve communication and writing skills in English. Secondly, the institute takes a special interest in teaching the three UN official languages of Arabic, French, and Spanish for better employment opportunities abroad in the Middle East (UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait), UK, European, and North American countries.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be appearing or passed B.Sc ( Physics, Mathematics), B.Eng, B.Tech, M.Tech, BBA, B.Com, B.A (Economics). b) Candidates must have scored high second class in the exam. Fluency in English Language. c) Above 75.0% Marks scored in Common Entrance Exam carried out by WIAA

Candidates should pass the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by WIAA

Annual Salary:  M.Sc. Air Transportation receives competitive salaries with an average income of $ 25-30K annual after completing the programme
